Luke’s Locker and GoodBody’s presents the 2010 BEST of BOTH ~ YOGA and PILATES SERIES of CLASSES!
• Learn techniques to enhance your running potential, increase strength, improve flexibility and prevent injuries. The 2010 RUNNER’s YOGA and PILATES SERIES is now open for registration. Classes “run” July 12th through December 18th, 23 weeks of classes held on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday with Randy Just and Karon Karter! ALL LEVELS WELCOME! INTRO IYENGAR SERIES: Join us for an action packed Intro Iyengar Yoga Series on Monday at 6:30pm with Randy Just!
The Iyengar Intro series of classes is designed to introduce beginning students to the fundamentals and principle movements of different postures. Gain a solid foundation of correct body alignment through all range of motions, and learn a progression of basic yoga poses by paying close attention to precise muscular & skeletal alignment.
Specific to Iyengar is the use of props: belts, chairs, blankets, bolsters & blocks to help students of all abilities perform the asanas. Build strength, flexibility, stamina and balance. At the completion of the series, students will be acquainted with the basic knowledge required to progress to the next level of classes. These classes are designed for you to learn plus have fun!
Join us for an action packed Iyengar Yoga Series on Monday at 6:30pm. Now is the perfect time to begin a yoga practice for your body, mind and spirit!
